SportsRoutes – How do you feel about yourself coming into this season?

Jean-Louis – I feel great about myself this year. The coaches thought it would be best if I played DE and drop back to OLB as a Hybrid. So my goals this year is to lead  Dade with 20+ sacks.

SR – How do you feel about the defense?

Jean-Louis –  The talent we have in our secondary, and in the box is great. plus now we got new young guys from different schools and kids from Optimus who have potential to be the next big thing giving us, even more, talent and depth.

SR – What do you think about the team this season?

Jean-Louis – This really can be the year Krop can make some noise. We have all the pieces, now it’s time to go play football

Senior WR Edwin Reed:

Edwin Reed – I feel like we have a lot of talent on the team and if we work hard and be prepared mentally every game we’ll have an outstanding run this year.

SR – How do you feel about yourself this season?

Reed – I feel like I’ve prepared for the season well going hard in the weight room, working on my speed and being a better leader I feel like I can lead Dade in recovering yards and touchdowns.

SR – What do you think about the offense?

Reed –  The offense has grown over the summer with the addition to our new QB Danny we feel we can be a threat and put up big numbers.

Senior OT/DT Mataio Telfort:

SportsRoutes – How do you feel about this upcoming season?

Mataio Telfort – I feel like this upcoming season is going to be special. A lot of these guys are hungry, have talent, experience, and heart for this game and that’s going to take us very far.

SR – How do you feel about the offensive line?

What to expect?

The 2017 Krop Football team seems like the most talented team in the school’s history. Based on the major moves made by the team which includes adding new coaches, adding talented freshman and transfers, and new uniforms bring a sense of pride and a winning attitude to the locker room. Krop has a chance to make major waves in Miami-Dade and if its leaders step up and the underclassman perform, we could be looking at a new Powerhouse football program.
